yes chess is fun, an indoor game, chess let you think that pi is approximately 3.14, chess is not connected to math tho, but chess can make you better in math, not just math of course

I think the most fun in chess is to analyze one of the great games of the masters, especially if you have a good commentary for it as well.

Collecting pawns is easy dopamine so yes. It loses fun if you play competitively and seek to increase e-peen size

Not really. Chess isn't a true way to measure pure intelligence, and even more so, your point about how playing chess somehow correlates with high IQ is false. I mean, you are rated 800, saying that your IQ is higher because you have an average rating doesn't make sense.
