Should I prioritize learning the names of each space on the board? I.E. B3, F6, etc… How much does that matter when starting to learn the fundamentals of chess?

Man i need to chill on these forums, smh. imo. Your brain will just start to learn those I still have to count up or down to find a square. I separate the files into three groups: (a,b,c),(d,e),(f,g,h). And then i just count up or down. What really helped me to be able to locate squares instantly was the use of reading annotation, such as in a book, i cant really explain why though. I think if you do what i did which should be pretty automatic its not really too important starting out, but it does help with reading annotation so its more automatic visualizing the board.
