Thanks. I'll see how it goes, but that might be a good option. I'm from the school of "if you don't have anything nice to say then keep your effing mouth shut . . . or something along those lines.

Correction, I only had one Queen. The the gist of the story stands.
i peeked at game and your opponent (eventually) was up a lot of material and time and waltzed himself right into a three fold repetition

Oh I really feel this. I accepted a challenge from a guy way much older than me who kept saying all the time things that were meant to provoke and distract me. And also trying to flirt with me at the same time. Like seriously just play and stfu.

Thanks, Sylvia. Just sent you a friend request. Now I have to figure out how to play with a friend as opposed to whomever the system assigns to me. Re: older guys flirting . . . creeeepppy! They think we're interested? Not!
i only play on the app but playing a “friend” (assuming the friend accepts the friend invite) is as simple as going to friends tab, selecting the friend, and creating the challenge

I have never chatted in a game. But then, who wants to talk to an old fart like me?
For me it almost never happens, most games just go without chatting except for the occasional "gg." Sorry to hear that happened on your first game, they were probably some random kid. Don't let it affect you
I avoid problems with chat by just playing 3-day games.
