Ply against computer without aborting a live game

Total newb here.

I want to play against the computer. After digging around (a lot) I stumbled across the komodo computers.

Perfect.

But how do I access games with the komodo computers directly? I just auto-aborted a game against a real opponent because that seemed the only way to access the Play vs Computer tab with all the komodo computers listed. That's obviously not the way to do it!

Thanks, IMBacon, but no - that's not accessing the komodo computers. And playing that way gets no stats. 

Thanks Mr Muscovy. How do I get to a screen that allows me to do that? At the moment I go Play > Daily Chess > Play. And it immediately starts to look for a live opponent. Which sucks. I have to quickly hit "Cancel" and only then can I select "Computer" and one of the Komodo engines.

Surely there's a more user-friendly way to access the Komodo engines directly.

If you’re on the website go to either live or daily chess click the small board on the top right of the play button choose your time control then click the vs Random button and enter the computer level you want to play e.g. komodo8.
