1 A pawn moves 2 or 1 step in the start then  after the start,pawn move 1 step. If their is a piece diagonole to the pawn you can capture it. And you can also enpassent when it  reach the end of the board it turn in to a queen rook bishop horse you decide wich one

You might want to add one exception, en passant, it confuses a lot of beginners because it looks like an illegal move, especially if they have never seen it before.

En passant had me rage quitting over this infamous “glitch” until I learnt it was a legal move. I reported my opponent who I assumed “hacked” chess.com. Lol I’m so dumb.

@Jalex13 Some beginners assume the player is cheating and when they're told it's a legal move they must wonder why they don't know anything about it. It's not a move that I come across often but they did include it in a recent daily puzzle so it's always best to know 🙂 @OP If you're going to explain every move in the game you might be posting for years as I'm sure some beginners will ask questions 😀
