Hello, chess aficionados. I've spotted a niche tactic in a game, that is a prime example of a sacrifice. A handy tip for this puzzle (and sacrifices in general) is to weigh the costs of what your sacrifices amount to versus what you're gaining.
Black has offered a rook trade, despite being down a minor piece. White could accept the rook, but in this position, white can take their +3 points of advantage and DOUBLE it.
