Some recommendations for beginners from a beginner

I have been playing chess for some time now but I consider myself sort of a beginner. There are a few things that I want to share with other beginners that might prove helpful. 

#1 Never Accuse Your Opponent Of Cheating In The Chat

Nothing good will come of such a course of action. Of course there are very diligent measures taken by the site that addresses those concerns if they prove to be valid. However, you should only focus on your own skills. 

#2 Do Not Play Too Many Games

It might be tempting to play as many games as you can possibly play but it doesn't usually lead to meaningful improvement. The time that is put in playing chess can be better used solving puzzles and studying your previous games or games played by pros. 

#3. Don't Despair If You Keep Losing

It happens to the best of us sometimes that we experience a losing streak. Don't let that hold you back. If you keep losing it is probably a good time to rest a bit and come back stronger.
