Speed of progression among beginners

Good day to everyone. I was curious what the average speed of progression looks like for players who have decided to make serious gains in ELO. I have decided to study and play consistently and have a goal of hitting 1500 ELO by the end of 2025. What are some realistic expectations that I need to have in order to achieve this? I’d love to hear the progression history of you all as well.

You underestimate the rating of 1500. Although the level if so far in skills level comparing to 2000s, it is also very far from 1000s. It is achievable of course but very tricky do to it in practice. Nevertheless, it took me 2 to 3 years, from 1000 to 1500.
