Everyone starts somewhere; thanks for sharing a little of how you got into chess.
I don't recommend playing the bots much for improvement though. This is because computers play differently than human players, so it is better to practice against other human players. The computer (at the lower ratings) doesn't always play consistent in its planning. However, a human player will usually try to follow through with their plan even if it isn't best. You can still play the chess.com bots for fun, but I wouldn't advise playing them a lot; plus some bots are a bit inflated ratings to human players, so there is that too.
I never made a chess.com Blog Post or YouTube video on how I started out with chess and "how I built up" but I have considered sharing this story one day.
