I suggest playing with the bots on beginner levels. You can take as long as you want but you don't have to wait for their move. You won't have to deal with aborted games and resignations so you get to play all aspects of the game to the end.

Improving Your Chess - Resources for Beginners and Beyond…

I am a actual beginner as I am just learning the game of chess and want to play against other true beginners. It seems that 99% of the players that say their beginners have hundreds of games under their belt which im sure in the long run is a beginner but not a brand new beginner like myself. If not here are there other sites your could recommend for true beginners. Like less than 50-100 games. I think what happens is beginners start to loose when they play at their real level of competition so they sandbag and never play to their level. Is there a way to only play true beginners?
