what is a good way to improve in chess?

I really want to improve in chess. any ideas?

HOW I MADE MYSELF FROM 1200 RAPID RATING TO MY HIGHEST 1423 OR 1438 RATING IN CHESS. my ways are:-

*play matches which with long time like 30 mins, 15|10 mins and spend time thiinking a lot. u will improve alot.

*second, play grandmaster matches. u can see many grandmaster matches over chess.com. start one match and play from one side. think and make moves, then notice what grandmaster did. u will notice the reason and understand for what this move was made. soon u will notice that u have came to know how to make moves in certain situation.
