Hi everyone!
I’m a beginner and I’d like to know which chess openings are best for new players. I’m looking for openings that are easy to learn, focus on basic principles (development, center control, king safety), and don’t require memorizing a lot of theory.

What openings would you recommend for beginners and why?
Thanks in advance for your help!

hello! i’m playing chess about 2 years, and as for me italian and i spanish openings are really useful for beginners as far as they are not hard for understanding, plus, allow you to use all the basic principles you mentioned. and i also know that many people started their chess journey from these ones. i hope i helped you 🙏 good luck in games! ♟️
