Good at chess can be seen in a lot of different ways. At about 1200 you can beat almost everyone you know. At about 2700 is when you are "good" compared with the competitive chess players of the world.
when are you good at Chess ?

But, when would you say one is “good enough” to teach chess? 1800-2000?
I see lots of beginner advice threads created by people who themselves are 600-1000 rated and whilst they are well meaning, the advice is often incomplete and misleading.
I’d probably say around 1800+ is when someone becomes competent enough to grasp enough about the game to start coaching or teaching beginners (ie. sub 1200s), but is that relative too? I’m a 1650 player and whilst I feel competent enough to give tips and advice to a sub 1200, I wouldn’t necessarily go about publishing material on the forum which many people seem to do.
I think this is another interesting line of discussion!

Swedish meatballs are the best meatballs in the world. No other meatballs compare to Swedish.
Aussie meatballs are tasty too

Never heard of “Aussie” meatballs. What does Kangaroo taste like?
Depends on what part of the Kangaroo you eat, but to be honest i have only had it once.

Limitless_mind35: I ate a 50” Diamondback Rattlesnake a few months back. I leaned over to pick up a stick to throw to my dog, and it was about 18” from my face. It was coiled up and not happy. I drew my revolver and shot it. I’ve always believed that if it is edible and I kill it, it is getting eaten. I’d highly recommend it.
Haha, us Aussies love our wild animals

When you can beat GMs in slow games.
Actually i don't like to beat anyone so never tried with any GM. 😊
Says the 1300

What I was saying is,
you said "I don't like to beat people"
but as a 1300+ player you'd need to beat quite a bit of people, especially those 3-digit ones.
2300+
