My advice to you would be to pick up Modern Chess Openings 15th Edition and study it. It is considered the "Bible of Chess Openings."

I have just started my own Chess Club here "Checkmate Chronicles Club" and you'll be the first to join actually because I just created it. It also has it's own YouTube channel along with Discord Channel. I have a few videos on my other site that I still have to transfer over to this channel. I decided to create a dedicated channel just for Chess instead of having on my Polymath channel. But here was my latest video today actually covering the book I mentioned Modern Chess Opening Charts

I hope I covered everything. I'm a beginner myself, although probably an intermediate beginner as far as knowledge and understanding of the games theory and tactics. Now I just have to put all the knowledge to practice so I can get results.

Anyway, just figured I'm start promoting the Club to beginners and mainly to anyone who is struggling getting started or learning the basics of chess.

Checkmate Chronicles Club.
