Thank you. Looking forward to digging in.
Would you recommend 10min games or 30min games for beginners?
I personally use lichess when I already used up my daily chessCom analysis: lichess.org/paste with computer analysis enabled
To copy out the line from a book, either the Lichess or Chesscom analysis pages, then to find related games the ChessBase live database page. To format the PGN, NoteTab Pro with a bunch of clips (macros) set up. Also Excel, to format long lists of PGNs formatted as comma-separated value lists. In WordPress, I make heavy use of the RPG Chessboard plugin. I also use ChessBase Reader 17 and sometimes ChessX (which is a free alternative to ChessBase itself). To fill in PGNs I make heavy use of chessgames[.]com and chessmetrics[.]com.
Apart from the tools on Chess.com, what other websites, tools should I use that help explain why my moves are bad/good etc?
I need to know what mistakes I'm making and why they are mistakes
