why am I so bad
The experts can tell you what to do to improve.
If you accept a non-technical suggestion, I tell you simply : have fun. Chess is a game. Once you've became at least a master, it can become something more serious; until then, enjoy it without exasperation and frustration, it makes no sense.
1000 in 3 months is very good, imho.
Chess takes lots of time to get better, it seems.
Set targets in months and years.
First of all. Three months is NOT a very long time at all. So do not worry.
That being said, if you want to improve, stop playing bullet and blitz. It is pretty much a waste of time if you want to improve. Instead, use all of your chess time that you use actually playing games, playing rapid 15|10 or longer time controls and using that time you have on your clock to think.
Analyze every game after you played it (won or lost) and go through the mistakes and blunders trying to learn from those.
Use at least half of the time you have to spend on chess on studying. On this study time, do a lot of tactics puzzles, do the lessons here on chess.com, read some beginner books, maybe even a youtube video can help at least a little (when you are too tired to do more serious studying for example). You can take a look at the openings you play in books, but there is no reason to spend a lot of time memorizing theory at beginner level. The first few moves and some key ideas will do. You will be able to build on that foundation little by little, game after game, through analyzing the games and learning from your mistakes.
I am no expert, but I have been making some more or less steady progress since I started and I believe the same method will work for other people too.
I have also fallen into the abyss of playing too much blitz at one point and noticed that it really does not help improvement. If anything, playing too much blitz made me play chess worse. And that was 5|5 blitz, so the longest available blitz control on this site. Bullet would be even less useful for improvement.
So basically, as long as you are playing blitz and/or bullet, you are not actually using your diamond membership to the fullest. Playing blitz and bullet can be done without diamond and it helps you progress the exact same amount, which is close to not at all. So all the time you spend on those time controls, is basically time you are wasting while you could actually be using your diamond membership to study and analyze longer games etc.
I can teach you EXACTLY how to think during the game (opening, middlegame and endgame). Your chess understanding will never be the same and you will improve a lot. I charge €10/h, but if you can’t afford too many lessons, don’t worry. I can teach you a lot in an hour. Here to help if you are interested.
If you want to study by yourself, read ‘Logical Chess’. It is really instructive book. You have it on youtube as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eTB7oHeRgM&list=PLUrgfsyInqNa1S4i8DsGJwzx1Uhn2AqlT
If you have diamond then go through the study plans. They have a lot of thins to learn, and will teach you a lot. Here is a link for that: https://www.chess.com/article/view/study-plan-directory
Also do blunder checks every move, and ask yourself why did my opponent make this move also. Here is a great video on blunder checking: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfmDBpbqMAI It is from called chess vibes, and he has a lot of great info for beginner level players.
As Habanababananero stated above analyze every game. It is important that you ask yourself why you lost this game after every loss, and don't use a computer when you analyze the first time through. You need to come up with why you lost the game not the computer. The computer will tell you all sorts of blunders, but does not know what was going on in your head at the time. You may have played a blunder because you did not see or look for your opponents threats, or miscalculated something. All the computer says is that there is a blunder here. The computer can help you find blunders in your game, but only you can figure out why you lost that game. As Habanababananero also stated do lots of puzzles.
Women I started playing chess I did not win a game the first three months.
I believe it.
But what have women got to do with it?
900 or so after three months is not bad.
