Why Are Higher rated bots easier then lower rated players?

I play a lot of chess, both bots and people, and I have a rating of around 500. But when I play bots, I can easily beat bots with ratings of 1000-1100, while i have challenging games playing against people epithet ratings of 500. Do you all know why?

Bots don't blunder like people do. Usually they play the strongest move for so long and then make a horendous blunder not in keeping with the ideas behind the position (not in the way a human would blunder). They could also be programmed to alternate which strength move to take every other move. Sometimes the blunders or preprogrammed error selection is so bad it takes the challenge away from their rating. You may notice that similar rated bots have massive play strength differences.

A lot of people use opening books when they play online, which is legal, but is like playing against a 3400-level player for several moves until the book moves finally run out. When you play chess over-the-board (OTB) instead of online, this “tool” is eliminated, and you can get a better sense of what a “real” player of a given rating is like. For instance, I find players rated 700-1100 online here are quite stellar players and very under-rated … most of them could easily beat the 1400-1600 rated players I have played against OTB.
