why do I keep getting paired with players with 1000+ scores as someone with a 400-500 score?

Hi! I’m a beginner and just getting straight slaughtered every game as I keep getting paired with folks with 1000+ scores. Is there a way I can be paired with folks starting out too?

If you're creating random seeks your rating range allows it.
