I was black in this position and after I lost, as usual, I looked at the analysis and the engine says I should go pawn e5 here. But that space is attacked by white 3 times, while I only have it defended twice, by my knight and rook. Why would that be a good move? They could just take my pawn, knight, and rook if I tried to exchange.
