New chess mode suggestion:

Chess, but you can eat the board

Each turn, instead of playing a move, you can eat (remove) one square from the board. If a square is removed, it works like a wall in 4 player chess; no piece can slide over it, and a knight can jump over it. You can also prevent checks by eating a square. 

That's pretty sweet. It would be even cooler if the board was setup correctly.

That's very nice.  A lot of work goes into that. It probably costs 500 usd.

& yeah, the whole dark square on the right with the kings & queens on the wrong squares is a little annoying but other than that it's perfect.
