Just asking to see if anyone has any tips to make learning chess more fun for my 7-year-old son. I’ve heard of an app called ChessKid. Is it any good? And is it worth paying for the premium membership on ChessKid?

Chesskid is good, yeah.
You can also consider getting him a more fun-themed chessboard, where all the pieces are animals or cartoon characters.
If he really gets into the game you'll know he's ready when he wants the real thing anyway.

I would also go over some simple lines that will allow him the quick wins first, so he gets a taste of being able to win.
