Checkmate with a Queen sacrifice

The above board is actually quite a clever checkmate. I would have done Nxe5 instead of Bxd1 myself, but who am I to complain? This guy pulled off a checkmate.

Queen sacrifices, I believe, make for highly effective checkmates or killing sprees(my pet name for when you're just rampaging through your opponent's squares and ruthlessly slaying everything), as the opponent simply cannot pass up the chance to take out a queen. Especially if declining it leads to another bad situation(this happened in a Donald Byrne vs Bobby Fischer game, where Fischer counter-attacked with his Bishop instead of having his Queen run away). 

What a brilliant tactic.

In the first one, 1... Nxe5 and Black has won a piece.

In a couple of the others...well, let's just say Black was generous to a fault.
