Chess Quests (Feature Idea)

Hi everyone,

I've been thinking of an idea for a new feature on chess.com that could add some fun and excitement to the game. It would be related to quests and it could be called something simple like Chess Quest Challenges. Basically, it would be a set of daily, weekly or even monthly challenges that players can choose to complete for some extra fun and rewards.

The idea is to have, for example, 3 different quests every day that players can try to complete. They would be simple but interesting tasks like (just an example):

1. QUEST: Checkmate with a pawn
2. QUEST: Get your king to b6
3. QUEST: Make three captures in consecutive moves

Some other quest ideas:
• Make an underpromotion
• Get your opponent to resign before move 20
• Checkmate your opponent in under 20 moves
• Make a move that forces a stalemate
• Complete a game with only your king and pawns left
• Use en passant to capture a pawn

There can be a lot of ideas.

The challenges would vary in difficulty, so no matter if you're a beginner or an advanced player, you could find something fun to do. If you complete the quests, you would get rewards like achievements, special badges or even something like points of some sort.

I would even add that players could choose to turn the quests on or off, depending on whether they want to be challenged or just play casually if players think that it would interfere with their learning process or focus on improving their chess skills.

I think this could add a cool twist to the game and keep people coming back every day to see what new challenge awaits them.

What do you think of this idea? Would it be a good feature for the site? If the staff at chess.com thinks this would be a good addition, it would be awesome to see it added!

The rewards should be quest points, which you could use to buy premium features if you aren’t premium.
For example:
5 pts - one game vs a premium bot. (Or 1 hour to play with 1 bot)
10 pts - a free lesson
(1 hour until it goes away)
1 pt - a free puzzle
(Or 1 minute of unlimited puzzles)
20 pts - a free game review
10 pts - move explanations on a game review
(if you re-review it later, it will keep the move explanations)
20 pts - view your insights once. (Or unlimited insights for 10 mins)
20 pts - +5 days of vacation time, with a maximum of 90 days.

I forgot one feature:
1 pt - skip an ad (or 1 minute with no ads)

Whatever quest points would be used for, you should send that idea to support or smth
