"Do Android Dream of Electric Sheep" by Philip K. Dick

mytself
Back in ancient history gaming sites such as westwood, bullit, runescape and others used 'game gods' to monitor the sites. Looking for hackers, backdoor pingers, scammers and the like. We used a golfing term when we 'drove them from the site' we would '' T '' them up. hence my T self. I would 'T' them up myself.

Nah, you'd need a meaner looking moose as an avatar :).

OckhamsRazor

My nick means that the likelihood of a hypothesis being true is increased when its proof is based on the fewest number of assumptions.

For those trivia-minded folks, Occam's Razor (sometimes spelled as I spell it) is, specifically: "entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem" [entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity].  Also stated as Numquam ponenda est pluralitas sine necessitate [Plurality ought never be posited without necessity.]

Origin: William Ockham (c. 1285–1349), 14th century English logician and Franciscan friar.  I wonder if he played chess...

Min is a reference from the cult comedy show 'Arrested Development'. If you know the show, you'll get the reference. If not, it's just too wierd to attempt to explain :)

Brilliant! I love that show... good name.

This is a good topic... I'd definitely been curious about some usernames.

For me, I'm a huge Pixies fan, and I think Kim Deal is brilliant... the 54 is completely random though. I wish I had a cooler explanation for it. My real name is Michelle, and the username can be a bit confusing cause some people have started calling me Kim. :)

If only there were a site for Japanese Chess, in English since I still have not learned the Japanese characters for the pieces much to my chagrin.  I love the fact that you can drop captured pieces.
