Determine Your ELO - What's Your Skill Level?

Wow, 1920 for me. Much higher than expected.

As a guy said to me once in a chess cafe in Amsterdam...."It's not possible to have grading so low"

1550. At the moment i`m content with it. Higher than my chess.com rating:)

1580, higher than i thought!

1355, must be that by the time I got to try it, it was broken. I can see it now, I'll get a big head and end up going down hill for the umpteenth time,,,,,, gotta love it!!

oh, by the way,, if I ever get to the 1300's, I'll think I"m a gm,,,,,

odviously I don't know what all the right answeres were

But juging for how I rate in the TT it did a good job

And my score was 1000 

 It give me a gage to say if I do it again say 6 months  I could say I'm not better

or hopefully will have improved my level

PROGRAMMER ERROR !!  Someone ought to write to chessmaniac and tell them that there is a MAJOR bug in this calculation routine.  If you right click anywhere in the ELO rating page, you can click on "view page source" and see how they do the calculation in their "rating" function.  You get a baseline of 1000 elo for each question, and certain good answers will bump up your rating.  Here you can see all of the best answers for each question.  BUT the programmer GOOFED !!  If you look at the scoring for question 10, whatever score you get on this question erroneously changes your score for the 9th question, and you ALWAYS get 1000 (zero credit) for the 10th question! They need to change all the elo9 variables to elo10 in the final calculation.  How long have people been using this estimator?? GOOD GRIEF!!

Actually went back and did the test , i will not post my ELO ( 1480 ).

1525.  I think that's too high- I do better at puzzles than actual games.

That's the thing. It can give you an evaluation of your tactical and strategical abilities but nothing what-so-ever about your stress-endurance, concentration-skills in tournament settings etc.
