My guess is he lost only games against really strong Black magic, or when we tried to use Black magic himself.

Ron destroys Harry in the books, and Harry even admitted he wasn't that good (though he is better than Hermione). Also, Daniel RAdcliffee is an actor/imposter/whatever-you-want-to-call-him.
