I have no problem with pressing the draw button when claiming a draw on three-fold repitition. But this is usable. :D
drawing in live game by three-fold repetion and 50 move rule should be automated

you *do* have to claim a draw by repetition or 50 move rule. in tournaments, and in online chess. now you know :-)
point is, the player is supposed to KNOW that he has repeated or made 50 moves. nobody else, nor a computer system, is supposed to alert her/him to that fact.

I wish the site would in-hide the draw button in the iPad app, which currently sits behind three (3) gestures. Redeculous

that would be a really big change to the standard rules of chess, and i am pretty sure a lot more people would complain about that.

I think all 3 fold reps, and 50 move rules should be automatically prompted, interrupting the game, as an option...Someone might be feeling lucky or want to really test themselves or their opponent and opt not to play for the draw...

If you don't have time to do what you need to do during a chess game, consider playing either a longer game or one with increment. Increment time controls were designed specifically for this. In my view, if you play with zero increment, you are chosing to allow the clock to cause the kinds of problems you are complaining about. It is better to amend your choice of time controls that than the rules of chess.
Did you know that you have to claim draw for three-fold repition and the 50 move rule in live chess? Well I think it is rediculous, someone may say it is applied by FIDE that you have to claim draw. Well in a live, online game you don't always have time to press the draw button and I'm sure some don't even know of the feature. So I think there should be an option to enable and disable an automated draw. Please comment if this is a good idea or not, or if you didn't even know you had to claim draw in live.
