Dwight K. Schrute: Chess Player?

Dwight K. Schrute is one of the most popular characters from the television show The Office (US). While I have not seen every episode--I have made it about midway through Season 5--I don't recall a time when Dwight ever played Chess or ever mentioned any Chess-playing experience. If I'm mistaken, feel free to provide examples and/or context.

Question: Would Dwight ever be a good Chess player?

Discuss. Explain why or why not. happy.png

yes because hes probably a super genious but also a weirdo who would use unclassical gambits but then rage when he fails cuz on the show he does a lot

His excellent planning skills and his cunning would take him a long way, I think.

However, I doubt he would ever rise above 1600 to 1800 in the ratings, because he's too gullible. He could easily be led astray by whatever psychological machinations his opponent could concoct.
