in some tournaments, if it rings once you get time taken off, and if it rings AGAIN then you win. So, the first time--ring, ring! Opponent says, "Hey, free phone!" loses time, puts back into pocket. Second time--ring, ring! You win!!!

if a mobile rings during a tournament once you lose in all the fide rated tournaments I know.

Tournament rule says that if your mobile is making noise during the game you lose.
therefore you buy a phone where the network company doesn't know anything about the owner. One where you have to buy time to talk.
you place that phone into the jacket of your opponent and at a critical moment you call the phone.
you win.
