Thanks for the post Macer75. I agree with you that this person deserves a reward. A lot of people in Chess like titles with the letter " M " in their title such as NM, FM, IM, GM etc. Perhaps we could give this fellow the title of RM ( Rules Magistrate ).
I DO NOT Want A Title !

BM
Thanks for the recent posts.
The BM title intrigues me. When I used to work on the Railway we had some BMs there ( Boiler-Makers ).
I have been thinking about this for a number of months now and I guess that I do want a title after all. I have not heard from anyone in the UK so a knighthood does not seem to be in the cards ( ie: no Sir Cabby lol ). However we do have a appointed Senate here in Canada and Senator Cabby sounds quite good. There have been problems with members cheating on their expense accounts in our Senate and I promise to be a good person ( in case the PM is reading these threads ! ).

I, sir average Joe, do hereby dub thee, El Excavatór de la Cabadenwurt, for digging up this old thread. There, now you have a title.

--- Thanks for the post Joseph-S.
I guess that I just didn't like to see this fun little thread all lonely and forlorn. Every time that I see someone start a new thread that asks how many weeks it will take them to get to become a GM I want to pull my hair out ( And things are getting a bit thin on top of my head lol ).

In this case I'm doing something important to try to ensure that deserving people do get their titles because I will be staying out of the way. For example we had a fellow by the name of Daeth here who claimed to have " invinted " a new opening but could not get the credit for it. He argued for quite a while with anyone who visited his thread but made no progress. I feel that he should perhaps have gotten a title for all of his efforts, something like OI ( Opening Inventor ).
And don't forget Petermh5's contributions to the rules of chess - they are much more significant than simply invinting a new opining. he should also have a title!
