Yes she is. Since most forumers are male, I tend to assume. On some other forums a female is an extremely rare occurence.

I played my first games (and all of them up to now) on chess.com. Immediately I lowered my rating quite dramatically, and now am starting the long climb upwards because there are not a lot of members who will accept my challenge, and those at appropriate rating are hard to find. I like to think that my game is improving, since it's taking longer and longer to beat me. One day I'll start surprising myself!
I too played my first game on Chess.com. And my rating also took a dive. It's still slowly dipping.I too felt that soon nobody but nobody will want to accept challenges from me. But I've found a number of good people who care more about learning and making progress than about winning or losing. So I've relaxed a littlle. And thanks to them I've found some more courage to plod on. They include you too. I'm enjoying playing this game and hope we can play more games and watch ourselves improve. I hope you will accept challenges from me, I would welcome challenges from you very much.
