Hi..Buddy, who can help me.. just wanna know The Highest point with checkmate in this world...

Who is the holder of the throne ? How many points they get...

Avatar of Elubas

I don't even understand the question.

It's based on the Glicko system-you gain points when you win, lose or u resigned.

Mount Everest.

It's on the border between Nepal and Tibet... I guess they own the mountain.

+15 points for getting to the top.

Has there been a game of chess on the space station?

I'd be surprised if there wasn't. However I don't think astronauts are allowed to get high.

I know Kirk and Spock were fond of the old 3-dimensional chess.

Yeah, but once you leave orbit, it ceases to become a "high" and becomes "far" ;-)

So what you're syaing is that once you get so high that you aren't on Earth anymore, everything becomes far out?  Sweet, dude.

the last one was probably one among the highest checkmates Cool

This was pretty high, although without a checkmate and out of this world too:

BTW, I think that Gregory Chamitoff has an account on some chess server, my brother told me that he recently played against an astronaut, let me check it if it was on chess.com

A couple of high Czech mates

The Vishy and Magnus still have a lot to climb. I mean 8848, this would be a Highest point (with checkmate probably) in their carrier, and in this world too Undecided

I once won 14 points, I'm not counting my first games when a win would earn me like 80 points or something... But it wasn't by checkmate the other guy resigned.

Along with the Earth vs. Space game, have you forgotten that most of our internet signals are carried by satellites, some of which orbit higher than the space station? So what you can do is win a game on some dark and clear night, and then run outside, look up and take a sighting of your satellite, and yell, "In the name of Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and all the internet service providers, I claim the highest checkmate."  Then report that glorious news back to chess.com.
