Once a pawn crosses the center line, it can capture in all directions, like a whirling dervish. But after it's captured three pieces, it has to be taken off the board and sent to its room, so it can think about what it's done.
Killer Chess
Same rules and everything, except if a piece(or pawn) takes another piece, then that pawn or piece will be exucated by
1) Getting eaten by the player that took the piece
2) Player that took the piece gets a butcher knife, and chops it into pieces!
3) Player that took the piece gets Missile Lancher,Bazooka,or cannon to blow up the piece
Player that took the piece chooses between theese choices.
Any player who makes more than 10 moves with their queen in the opening without another piece or pawn move automatically loses their queen.
I remember there being a rule interpretation concerning pawn promotion: it stated that, when you promoted a pawn, it had to be promoted to a queen, rook, bishop or knight. However, it neglected to say that it had to be a piece of the same colour.
I remember seeing some chess puzzles designed around this idea, but I forget where they might be found.
Invisible square chess: Each player writes down a square, and if a player moves to the square the opponent wrote down, the piece disappears, and they get to choose a new invisible square.

I wonder who's going to pay for the replacement pieces...
When you get a piece to the other side of the board you can promote the pawn AND send it back to its starting square or promote another piece and send the pawn back.

Arbiters and tournament directors pay for them.

I like this, and it certainly would change the game!

Why the hell don't we just call it Battleship instead of Chess. While we are at it just call Weiner Dildo.
Change it where the pawns can only capture sideways.
