I beat Wally
What's your chess.com rating and what's the highest rated bot you've beaten?

I beat Wally
I've tried playing him and higher rated bots for fun ... I still cant beat the 1500 bot or any higher ones.
Boxbox 1400 and Nelson 1300 are the only ones I can still reliably beat.

The best bot I managed to beat is Nelson, I play for free and I am quite close to beating Antonio.
Look in the streamers section for 'Boxbox bot', he is 1400 and a good intermediary between Nelson and Antonio.

2241 rapid (2340 blitz), best bot I've beaten is 2450
Thats very nice for a beginner!
Im curious how long you've been playing now.
8-9 years plus tournament experience
Then why are you posting your leet skills in the beginner section

Can confirm, there was a time where I could beat Nelson with ease and I couldn't beat Antonio no matter how hard I tried, so I just played Boxbox first, then Antonio.

Some people ask for advice, so it's good for experienced players to look at these topics now and then.
Plus OP doesn't ask for only beginners.
I also beat a 2500 bot... but it felt weak, the bot ratings are odd. The Giri bot (2700) felt so strong I got the feeling I could never beat it, and it was supposedly only 200 points higher... so yeah, bots are pretty random.
cool

I have a student who just started chess so I was interested to see if there were any useful pointers for getting better in his case, and it's also a good reminder for myself to not underestimate my opponents (seen some very scary 800s as a 2200)

Elo is meaningless, if a 500 elo player doesn't blunder and spots the best moves, a 2000+ elo player could still lose.
Imo elo rating is purely down to not blundering and finding the best moves.
I'm 950 in rapid, yet I beat David and Natasha. Both 2000 bots. Provided it took me days to best them, but still...

Im 800+, beaten Li bot with 2000
You're 800+, I'm 800+, Magnus Carlsen is 800+...

I've only been here a week and I think I've played one bot just to get use to it and all. My rating, as it shows on chess.com here here, I believe is 340 or something like that. Yes, I'm just getting started learning and have a bit to go still.
