Out of all the top abstract strategy games there are out there chess has by far the highest player base and information for improvement. It is just the most practical choice of of similar game hobbies.

Why don't I not like chess is a better question for me....I am not sure if I can give a good answer....

I can't think of anything about chess that I dislike....I almost always find something I don't like about everything....being that chess is one of the rare exceptions....it is like having my favorite cake and ice cream @ my bday party, while my friends enjoy theirs too....instead of feeling like I am struggling with wanting my cake and eating it too, as I do with so many other things
