You will communicate, asynchronously, using the computer. But the questions remain... When, with who, why, how often, lol?

Thanks, for the variations, InfernoImpact. :) :)

InfernoImpact

Actually there's a trillion variations, or more, in the Ruy Lopez.

LesuhAn

Thanks, again! :) :) :)

InfernoImpact

A good way to play as Black is the variation above, or a6 :)

InfernoImpact

Oh and by the way, why did the NM play f6?? Its just bad... White can play Nxe5 fxe5 Qh5+! and White can win.

LesuhAn

Honestly, I'm not sure why he made a few questionable moves!?

InfernoImpact

The first one, like the computer analysis, It's weird how each move is a mistake. :P

No, it's not, and that is winning for black.

The king has room to get to safety in this variation, and white doesn't have a light squared bishop to add to the attack.

The strange part is he saw nxe5 and qh5 + when it didn't work....But, when it did(after f4 in his variation) he didn't recognize it.

Scottrf

Are you sure it does after f4? Because the knight can drop to g6? Not that I've looked at it for long.

You can probably play it as a fork with d4.

erikido23

bc5 is hanging if ng6 or f7

Scottrf

Gotcha, good job. There's my awesome vision.

Yeah....sadly it took me staring at the position for about 4 or 5 minutes before I saw it.  I just knew the move was bad.  I used to see that type of thing in a split second :(.  Oh to be young(and not have real life to worry about) lol

Why use a light Bishop

LesuhAn

Hi everyone, would love insight on this game, too... :)
