Nice!
4 Brilliancies in 1 Game??

It's interesting. I've never had more than two in a game and you're higher rated than me. Yet I'm convinced that !! is more likely to be handed out to players on lower ratings than higher, for the same moves. I only noticed three of yours in the game but I thought tht all three were completely normal and natural moves that an an aggressive, tactical player would make, especially since the nature of the game demands that white (or both sides) finds sharp and effective lines.

There is a point ... that it may be the case that they're more likely to be handed out after the same player makes innaccurate moves beforehand. Your bishop retreat to d2 was innaccurate but also your Qc2 might be a departure from "book" early on. Also, you have no Daily rating, which might mean something to the engine.
I'm going to try that out when I get 100 points back in blitz and am facing people who are more likely to use the Semi-Slav. The point is that when white has those three pawns abreast, there's a natural tendency for black to take on e4 and yet the old theorists used to think that black should take on c4. I sometimes play similar positions with Nc3 rather than Qc2 but of course, after Nc3, white can play the gambit line, if black wants it.

Yes... your theory seems interesting; there seems to be no rhyme or rhythm to the engine giving out "brilliant" moves. Sometimes it gives !! to a seemingly innocuous move and sometimes even a queen sacrifice demanding at least 4 or 5 move calculation only gets an "excellent move" or "good move" at best. It's been happening to me lately so I can take solace in the fact that those are actually brilliant moves, and the engine's just doesn't want to spoil high rated players much.
Thanks for your insight @Optimissed !

I'm glad you found my comments a little helpful. I realised very early that !! is in no way an objective, board-only related assessment, when used here in this context. But it really threw me when I noticed your high rating. Now, even if I don't consider bullet "real chess", blitz certainly is, because five minutes flat with no addons is enough for a good player to plan a well-played game. Not sure about three minutes, because the way I see 5 mins, that's 3 mins plus 4 x 30 second thinks or plus 6 x 20 second thinks. But bullet @ 1 minute is speed, reaction and memory only. So I looked at your profile before commenting and noticed you haven't played any Daily and your Rapid is on the starting position. It may be that the engine weights them more positively, which COULD be the reason you got four brilliants in a game, for fairly normal and not hard-to-spot moves. I also believe I've noticed a correlation bewteem !!s and having already made maybe what the engine considers errors, even if they aren't errors.
As a point of contrast, I'll post you the most difficult Daily game I played in the past year. I think it got one great or maybe it was a brilliant. Can't remember. The contrast might be an eye-opener, if you take your time looking at this game I'm going to post.

Yes please. Would love to see that game. Thx!
Put it in the wrong thread, as you know. I'll put it here because it's relevant to this thread, if that's ok.

Yeah I was 100% sure when I was viewing the game in that other thread that it was in this forum xD. Thanks for taking the time to post this one here too, if only for the sake of completeness.
Let me know what you think about this. And are there any games where you (or your opponent) have got multiple brilliant moves (they must be according to the chess.com analyser)? Do share below!
