I had a 99.0 accuracy game against Pablo I won but his accuracy was 97.1 which was weird considering the fact he didn't play very well

Go find something shiny to stare at while you drool. Chess is not for you!"

This forum is getting out of hand (the forum is about cheating so I guess I shouldn't be surprised) Mods?

What exactly are you asking the mods to do that has not already been done? Laskersnephew was just quoting someone else who ultimately got their account banned for making many offensive posts, including slurs, in this forum topic. If you read this thread, it’s clear the offender’s posts have been removed.

I'm not saying that @Laskernephew's post is bad, I'm saying the person who he's quoting is bad.

Laskersnephew

I understood the point you were making. No problem!

the bishop sac at the end was a very advanced tactic, seems a bit suspicious

Tbh, its just the Greek Gift Sacrifice, which most chess players know.

202 more big brain moves than your opponent and you still ended up with a draw

Game_of_Pawns

I agree with icyboyyy that that Bishop sac is suspicious. The 99.4 isn't though, White's game played itself. An 800 playing that sac though? Even if he knew of the tactic, which seems unlikely at that rating, that's one of them tactics where most of the time that you're looking for it, it doesn't work for one reason or another. So actually playing it is hard, whether you know of it or not.

Just report it though. Posting it here is a bit ridiculous. I'm not sure what you hoped to achieve with that. Did he cheat? Probably not. His game played itself. You played appallingly and he never had a hard decision to make. Then he probably just got lucky with the Bishop sac. If we were to look at this guy's other games, I bet plays moves like that all the time and you just happened to be on the end of the 1 in 10 time in which it was sound.

Laskersnephew

If you think someone is cheating, the only ethical thing to do is to report them through to proper channels. Posting games here and muttering about how they "look suspicious," is unethical, cowardly, and dickish.

BTW: That bishop sac was extremely obvious. Every book for beginners describes the classic bishop sacrifice, and there are scores of Youtube videos describing it. The idea that you would need an engine to find it is ludicrous.  Anyone who's been show it once would find that sac

That isn't even close to true. I've probably missed hundreds of sound Bxh7 sacs.

Why would one use a engine at this level plus I think his opponent would not be even aware of the term engine.

I got 99.7 accuracy just because opponent make obvious blunder and resign wink.png

"That isn't even close to true. I've probably missed hundreds of sound Bxh7 sacs."

Really? I've probably spotted 125% of the available Bxh7+ sacs. Unfortunately, that included the 25% that didn't work. But seriously, any time Black's Nf6 is missing and you have a bishop on the b1-h7 diagonal, you should at least check to see if the sac is on

Game_of_Pawns

I know the Knight wasn't there in this game, but seriously when is the Knight ever not there? lol. It's always there, so when do you see this? Then after not seeing it for 100s of games in a row, you just forget all about it... Like seriously, when is the Knight not there? hahaha

Bruno5979

I precise that the game is a bullet 2+1 and the opponent plays very fast (1'50 left at last move).

Other precision : the opponent seems to become stronger bullet player because since this game he is now 1100 bullet and not 800 !

abbinignanti

Laskersnephew

"but seriously when is the Knight ever not there? "

Every time you have a pawn on e5, for example

abbinignanti

but seriously?

you're right, better slip on the philosophical. metaphysically arguing, why in fide I have an elo bliz of 1700 after playing 3 games and on your site I have 1200 rating?
is it not that you have entrusted the geographical management of users to Italians?
