A "Clutter" Game

Here's an example of a game I watched with an opening sequence that I thought was pretty unusual and led to the board having a cluttered appearance with so many pieces close together:

Most of all, look at the decision by Black to play Ne7-d5+ on move 13 and then to follow that with Nd5xc3. When Black plays Nd5xc3, Black's queen is ready to be captured by White's bishop. I still don't grasp the analysis here. I don't think I would have ever sacrificed my queen on move 14 in this position unless I saw a guaranteed mate.

İ Dont get it.. why Didnt white take The rook in move 16 After all he wins the rook and if the knight eat The white rook Then the other rook takes it İ Dont know if it is Right :thinker

If White takes the rook with his king when the rook is on f2, then Black can play Ne4+ and capture the queen the next move.

Because then black plays 17. ... Ne4+ winning the queen.
