I'm no Sicilian expert, but 6...e5 looks a bit risky to me, as it gives White's Bc4 such scope and weakens d5. Because of that 6....e6 and 6..b5 are more popular.

7.Nde2 and 7.Nf3 are both better than 7.Nb3 which seems to sideline the N

14...Bg5+ looks interesting instead of your Nc6.

Did you consider 15...b5 16.axb5 axb5 17.Nxb5 Rfb8? You really need some play of your own on the Q-side. You don't want to give White all the time in the world to build his attack

White's 17.h6 looks harmless. Shouldn't he be opening lines on the K-side, not closing them

all of your ideas are really interesting... and ya i was really trying to make him play h6 because it is harmless

i agree i needed some form of attack but sacrificing the b pawn like that leaves my d pawn in pre as well

wow i could have got a free pawn from bishop g5+

his move of 7Nb3 is a popular move in the open sicilian as those two knights combine to make blacks job of attacking more difficult

ya e6 is definately less of a risk... i'll have to try that sometime

thanks!
