From what I understand, engines are not very good with openings. I know with Fritz, for example, you can enable the book openings which makes the analysis based on opening lines rather than what the computer thinks.
As for your additional question; I would say the Game Explorer is a great resource. As for these explorers go, you should be aware that the numbers are based on the games in their database. The Game Explorer here has the option for Masters games, your games or some other players games. Using different options will give different results.
BTW, this might also explain why the analysis choice was different than the explorer; the engine may have used a different opening book.
Also, you might not want to limit yourself to just learning lines. Go to Youtube and watch a video or 2 about the opening. This will give you a quick overview of the opening so you can have some understanding of the intentions behind the moves.
After requesting an analysis by chess.com of one of my game I was really surprised that the play recommended is not refferred when I go the explorer to check the possible lines.
Image 1 displayed what Chess.com recommends after analysis
Image 2 is what you've got from the explorer after 1. e4 c5 2. Bc4 when you explore from Master games.
Thanks for all answers
Additional question: what is the best way to find, in chess.com info on possible lines in order to improve my game.
