I reached this position in a game against my coach and we spent a lot of time thinking about it, could you give me your thoughts on it?
(White to move)

At first glance it looks like both sides are really duking it out. I also think that black is better. I do not think white is winning. Black also has an attack on whites king. All the squares that white pieces can go to are also covered by black pieces. Using the process of checks captures attacks. White does not have any effective checks. Bxd4 is just a lost bishop. QxNh8 is just a lost Queen. Capturing the pawn on g8 is intriguing but the Queen is covering f8. White does not have any effective ways to win material or gain a significant advantage. Therefore the best move in this position is to get whites king to safety and get his h1 rook active. My vote would be for Kf2 followed by Ke1.

First glance, I like Rf8. White has a huge material advantage here and either move seems to work curtains for Black, especially given the fact that Black has three choices to reply: Qxg3+??, Qc7? or Qxf8.

I also thought of that, it seems like it's one of the best moves. But about the material advantage i don't think it's that relevant because the rook on h1 is completely sealed away and the b1 bishop is blocked by a defended pawn.
Btw thank you for taking the time to analyze the position.

Pawn on g7 is a grammar correction. I said pawn on g8 in my analysis but g7 is correct.
