I'd say you traded off your bishops a bit too quickly, and then you spent time maneuvering both of your knights to inferior squares.  This was particularly unfortunate in the case of your king knight, since it couldn't get back into the game via f5 due to White's pawn on e4, and thus was doomed to sit on the sidelines for most of the game.
