Any idea why I just blundered 7 times? I've had sleep and some caffeine, so the usual causes are out

I maneuvered my way out and won, but I'd like to be more surgical and less sloppy here. I'm awake, lucid, had enough sleep, drank water and had food and some caffeine so the usual causes are out.

Oh man, move 16... that would have been painful if your opponent found dxc3. I'm not sure about your motivation in the next few moves. Seems like it was an attempt to trap the bishop or something? But you should have seen it wouldn't be trapped. You definitely want to be super careful when their bishop is in line with your queen/king etc. and also the rook in the corner there not connected to the other one is something that could be ripe for attack. (Try to connect rooks fairly early!)
Why you missed Rxc1 I wouldn't know; sometimes people have poor long-range vision and that is helped by trying to be disciplined and look at all all your opponent's pieces. Other than that, I don't know if I can answer the question as stated, but as to the two points above, I think it is definitely helpful to learn and practice certain common ideas, like looking for the available checks and connecting rooks.

Thanks, good points. I have no idea why I didn't see such obvious things.
