What is the best option for white in this situation?

Though I don't know the line very well and don't play it, the principle is to use your lead in development to force a winning attack.

Well, if I do 4. Bc4, then black does 4...Bh4+.  I figure that taking it with my Nxh4 is bad due to his Qh4+ and my really weak kingside.  Though I could respond to 4...Bh4+ with 5. ke2, but I just hate the cramped position.

Wow!  Harsh crowd.

Ke2!! leads to the famous Delayed Bongcloud ,King's gambit accepted variation. It is a forced win for white in 30 moves.

Talfan - how is it a forced win? Can you give me those moves. Id like to check it out.  I play KG-accepted as white like 40% of the time

I'd like to see that too.  You are saying that the theoretical  longest black can holdout is 30 moves.  All the other replies lead to mate  in a lesser number of moves.  Millions of variations...

Don't be so gullible guys!  The "forced win" in the bongcloud attack is tongue-in-cheek.  TalFan was just having fun with you.
