if only chess.com would explain brilliant moves. great moves do barely anything for me, they're always so obvious. like, yeah, the opponent blundered a queen and i took it. wowww. so smart.

The Chess.com analysis is a joke!

Depends on the eyes you are looking from and where you are looking - concerining the 'brilliant' stuff. Most of mine are perfectly okay. But I look at a 1200 (for example) and find them....'amusing'. The analysis in generally is good enough though. I wish it were better, but you have to start somewhere.

Here's a definition for you: https://support.chess.com/article/2965-how-are-moves-classified-what-is-a-blunder-or-brilliant-and-etc#:~:text=We%20replaced%20the%20old%20Brilliant,had%20not%20found%20the%20move

"We replaced the old Brilliant algorithm with a simpler definition: a Brilliant move is when you find a good piece sacrifice. There are some other conditions, like you should not be in a bad position after a Brilliant move and you should not be completely winning even if you had not found the move. Also, we are more generous in defining a piece sacrifice for newer players, compared with those who are higher rated."

Bad defense for black...bad moves for both sides. Just a bad chaotic game. Next question?

The game favour tilted not that mutch. If it pendeled at least 3 times then you could call that chaotic

I call 'chaotic' a bunch of bad moves for both sides...anything could happen...don't have to have a graph showing lots of ups and downs.

I think ones mom would consider such a room - full of books lying on the ground...chaotic.

I'm not a mom...but see books on the ground in this room which my wife says "looks like a cyclone hit it"

Analogies only hint at things. Staying with chess (oh, and those ARE chess books I refer too...) a bunch of bad moves make for a chaotic game...maybe the opponents are not good enough to find good replies and there are not many 'ups and downs' on a graph...but it's still a chaotic game.

ok I just want to say, to get a brilliant move you have to play a move that is not necessarly the best, but that either sacrifices a piece/pawn or that is very hard to find like a random king move in an engame (there are more). You also have to be either going to lose or draw or the second best move if you're winning has a like maximum +2 advantage (-2 for black ig).
