A very sharp game

game ends with a sneaky checkmate after cXd I have looked at this position what is interesting is he let me take his queen for this postion, I am up major peices but I ran out of imagination and inovation with only 8 minutes left on the clock.

you were winning, you blundered the win with a careless move 32...fxe5. almost anything wins here. you are up in material so you should try to simplify. to me the simplest looks like 32...Rd8 when 33. exf6 can be replied with 33...Qxg3+, and 33. Bd5 can be replied with 33...Rxd5 forcing simplification. 34. Bf4 pin is harmless as 34...Rxd1+ comes with a tempo and then the black queen moves into a safe square.

White had 30 Qxh7.  And yes, he has a very strong attack there.  No doubt he did blunder, because he could've gotten a winning endgame with 31 Qg8+ Ke7 32 Qxg7+ Kd8 33 Qf8+ Kd7 34 Qf7+ Kc8 35 fe.
