First, quickly how to take chess notation:
The squares are horizontally labeled a-h, vertically 1-8. This way, individual squares can be identified, for example, e4, h8, etc. King is labeled as "K", Knight as "N", Bishop as "B", Rook as "R", Queen as "Q", and in most cases, pawns as nothing at all. "X" is to capture a piece. To write down a chess move, you look at the square a piece has moved to and use that. For example, Nf3, or Nxf3 if said knight has taken a piece with its move.
Now, about the game:
I could try to go into depth, but I'm too lazy (not to mention I'm no master myself) and for someone new to chess like you, there were two things that stood out to me:
1) Make moves with purpose. On Move 16 you move Bf4, but the next move you change your purpose and move back to f3. Moves are valuable, so try not to make ones you would want to change later.
2) Look for hanging pieces. On Move 33 you let your opponent capture your rook for free, which was what truly cost you the game. Being significantly down on material will very likely lose you the game, so try to avoid hanging any pieces.
That is all. I hope I helped you :)
I'm a new player and have no idea how to annotate. Can someone help me analyse this game?
