Hi all,

Did my opponent, on their previous move, castle through check?

What did I miss?

The black bishop is attacking the b1 square. The king is not in check, the king does not pass through check, and the king going to c1 does not end up in check, so yes it is a legal valid castle. A rook can be under attack, pass through a square under attack (in this case through b1 and still be used to legally castle. Key word is Check, and only the king can be checked.
