I'm not sure what you mean on move 6 when you say e3 blocks in the dark squared bishop as it is already outside the pawn chain so e3 is definately fine and the main move I think. I'm not sure about Qf3, his e pawn becomes a bit weak but his bishop becomes very strong on c6 so an idea might be to play 13.Nc2 followed by Nb4 trading the bishop or forcing it to retreat, I don't think Nde2 was good as it doesn't leave your queen any retreat squares. Another better move I think is Nf5 alhough his bishop on c6 is still very strong in that line. I think maybe 25.Qf3+ or 26.Qf3+ were ideas but what you played was fine too although 26.Rxb7 may have been stronger winning a pawn and probably his a pawn too. You could play on at the end although it does look hard to win but you shouldn't be nervous, I don't see how you can lose.

Well, e6 sorts of "cuts off" the bishop, which is a better term probably.
25 Qf3+ where okay but after Kg7 black might survive, so I wanted to keep the pressure on by Rc7.
26 Rxc7 is a blunder because I lose the bishop!
Thanks for the comment.
Kg7 can't be played because the bishop is on h6 and maybe taking the b7 pawn on move 26 is good and taking it with the queen might be better than the rook!
Good game. Here is a variation I found;
15.Bxf6!?
Giving up the bishop pair for kingside attack.
15...Bxf6 16.Bc2 e5
Black can't stop Qxh2 with any other move.
17.Nxe4 Nd5! 18.Rad1 Bxb2 19.Rxd5
If black played 17...Nd7, white would be attacking black queen after 19.Rxd7, black would be in huge trouble.
19...g6
Forced.
20.Qf4 Qxf4 21.Nxf4 Bxd5 22.Nxd5
Final position is quite good for white.

Yeah, I noticed that, lol. Kg8 looks good though.

Cool! That does look interesting, unfortunate that I missed it. I seen the ideas like that, but I didnt give much thought to them and didnt realise black would have such a hard time defending h2.

Hi guys, just back from the Irish Junior Championship, and W2 L1 and D2. Happy enough, in my first game I made a bad blunder causing me to queentrap myself, and I had to give up a knight to save the queen, and then managed to hold out a while, but ended up resigning. The second was an easy win, the third was a tough draw, my fourth was a win and my fifth, was a draw. I'll be posting my third and fifth games for analysis. Please comment on what I did wrong, or could of done better.( I lost the first game record sheet, but I will upload the game when I find it.) Thanks all!
